Raised in lush Virginia and sunny southern New Mexico, Dianivy was nurtured early on with 4-part acapella singing and piano lessons. Since her youth, she has been performing in musicals, operas, show choirs and folk-rock bands. Dianivy is a nurturing, upbeat soul whose spirit soars through a cadre of creative outlets such as using organic foods to produce exotic ethnic theme dinners for the evolving constellation of her extended family. Dianivy feels every note of her music and raises her two sons, Josh and Forest, with the same passion. Simply put, she loves the practice of being an "Eco-Mama" and hates to wear shoes in the garden. When she's not writing songs, she can be found tending her chickens, dreaming ahead for the Rainbow Gathering, or offering up laundry to the sun.
